What is Sunderland Black and Minority Ethnic Network?
• It is an independent network of 17 black and minority ethnic voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations
• It was started in 2003 with the support of Becon (the North East's BME infrastructure organisation)
• It became constituted in 2005
In 2009, the Network became a registered company (No. 06825908) and charity (No.1130886)
